About
Erica Pretty Eagle is an Indigenous creative, storyteller, and founder of Pretty Eagle Designs, a visual studio born in 2013 from her passion for design, identity, and self-expression. Her work lives at the intersection of graphic design, motion graphics, illustration, photography, and fashion media.
Erica is based in Oklahoma, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She is a proud enrolled member of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and also descends from the Osage, Pawnee, and Sac & Fox Nations. Her work and personal life are deeply informed by her culture and community. In her free time, she enjoys dancing at powwows, sewing, and spending time with loved ones.
In 2023, Erica began expanding her creative practice into fashion media, with a focus on fashion photography—both runway and studio—as well as short-form fashion film and digital content development. In addition to her media work, Erica co-curated her first runway production alongside her sister, Dr. Jessica Harjo. The event, titled the Empowered Indigenous Fashion Show, debuted at the Osage Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A second iteration of the show is currently in development for October 2025.
She is also a freelance model and is currently available for work. For inquiries or a full portfolio, please reach out via email.
